TopBump's refund policy is short, and it's worth knowing before you pay:
Final and non-refundable
Bids (new listings and top-ups) and banner ad purchases are final. Once your position or your ad slot is live, that payment doesn't get reversed — this is what keeps the board's economics honest and predictable for everyone else competing on it.
The one automatic exception
Category and subcategory creation fees are refunded automatically — but only if your request is rejected. That happens if the category cap is full or your chosen name collides with an existing one at the exact moment you pay. If either check fails, the refund is issued in the same process that declines the request; you never have to ask for it.
